It's been awhile

It has been awhile since I lasted visited my blog, I even had to look up my password in my e-mail account to log on!! lol I am happy to say that my daughter and I both found jobs this summer....and I am making more income than I ever have!! God has been very FAITHFUL to us!!! and blessing us above and beyond what we could think or imagine. We are beginning to settle in and make friends too and are attending our first small group at church. Things seemed like they would never happen just a few short months ago, but have been thinking about that verse, "don't despise small beginnings".....and little by little we've started to settle in here and there. We are still in need of selling our home in Iowa...so, waiting and trusting that in just the right time God will also see us thru on that.

Waiting

Patiently, waiting upon the LORD for jobs for my daughter and I. I know that God is not in any hurry, that things will come together in his timing~he is Faithful, and he is my Provider. I will continue to SEEK HIM and follow HIS LEAD. Looking forward to what God has in store for us.

Me and my girls! Just rejoicing in God's creation! Looking forward to what God will do in each of us here. Our pastor is speaking on "Overcoming our Past".....God is building a firm foundation!

God is at work already in our family! Last week Shawn surrendered his life to Christ! I am thankful! Also for our new church family...although we don't really "know" them yet...they are very warm, welcoming, and SO ON with the words that are spoken. Alot of healing being spoken here! We are enjoying it!

The Journey Begins

Shawn set out today for our new journey in life....life in another state, Colorado. He will be looking for our new home, learning and working on his new job. We are excited to begin this adventure together. Our marriage has had it's ups and downs of course, but God has continually been faithful to us. I am hoping that this is the NEW BEGINNING we need for our walk with the Lord together. That a hunger and thirst for the LORD will start in the hearts of my husband and children as we make this journey together....I want to see that the LORD builds this house...Proverbs 24:3 By wisdom a house is built, and through understanding it is established!! That our new life will be built on a solid foundation of JESUS CHRIST.

New Beginnings around the Corner

My husband will be going next week to start his new job....and the family and I will follow in about 3 weeks. Things are winding down here and will begin packing. Still praying for the sale of our home, but confident that God will be faithful!!

New Beginnings for my husband and I, and our family....we will be moving to Colorado Springs, CO in March. Praying for the sale of our home here in Iowa and that God will lead, guide and direct us toward the right home in Colorado. Looking forward to see what all God will do.
